If you are like me, you do all your IT work in blender 2.49, but you like the new blender for maybe modeling, or doing personal animations, well, i know how to have both blenders!

First, Download Blender 2.49 and python ( i have 2.6.6) , install them both first

when they install, i run blender 2.49 just to make sure it wont over write it.

Once you have blender 2.49, and python installed, Download the latest version of blender, i have 2.73 and install it.

Done and easy right?

But Glacia, how do i model in the new blender and put that model in game??

You export it from the new blender as a .obj and import it into the new blender, DO NOT animate it before exporting! You can texture it, as blender exports the uv maps with the Obj, but will not export your armature!.

Then, import it into blender 2.49 and do your thing :p

any other questions, comment below.
