blender - Blender Issues Empty
PostSubject: Blender Issues   blender - Blender Issues I_icon_minitimeWed Apr 13, 2016 3:50 am

I've tried to fix this myself with no luck, I'm very new to blender and would like to give it a shot. If this is in the wrong section, please feel free to move it.

I have installed Blender 2.49b (and Python 2.6.6, and it's reading it from what I understand)
I've installed the importer and exporter (correctly from my knowledge)
I've installed OgreCommandLineTools and I've only gotten as far as turning a mesh into an .xml

I'm trying to import a .xml but it's giving me an error, perhaps someone has the solution for this?

Code:
Compiled with Python version 2.6.2.
Checking for installed Python... got it!
Reading mesh file C:\Users\emmae\Desktop\Item Making\OgreCommandLineTools\Head2.mesh.xml...
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "C:\Users\emmae\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\.blender\scripts\ogre_import.py", line 445, in fileselection_callback
    parser = xml.sax.make_parser()
  File "C:\PYTHON26\LIB\xml\sax\__init__.py", line 93, in make_parser
    raise SAXReaderNotAvailable("No parsers found", None)
xml.sax._exceptions.SAXReaderNotAvailable: No parsers found

Please excuse me if this is a rather simple question to answer and I'm just not seeing it. I'm rather tired haha.

Bump? ;-;

I'd be very grateful for some help. Even just a little tutorial on how to download it properly would be wonderful tbh??

Honestly, I don't know. There are just some meshes I've come across that don't seem to be compatible with the standard exporter/importer. Have you tried using one of redeyes improved versions?

What are redeye's improved ones?

I've also now tried to use head3 with no luck, same issue.
