Exactly what do you mean? Do you mean the attack range a prey critter has? Or are you talking about the target on a critter while a player attacks it?

Oh in that case I can help you out easily!

Just go to your cd1 file and open it. Find the prey you want. If you take away the item drops it should look something like this:

[Peacock]
mesh=peacock
maxSpeed=40
hp=350
decisionMin=7
decisionDeviation=7
skillDrop=Cure,8
attackList=-15,5,0,0,1 <--- This is the line you need to change

So as you probably know, the first number in the attackList line is the amount of damage that prey does to you. (In this case, 15 health)

If you want to increase the attack area of the prey you need to change the 2nd number. (In this case the 5)

attackList=-15,20,0,0,1 <--- See how I changed the 5 to 20?

That will increase the range a small amount. The bigger the second number, the further away that prey will able to hit you. I recommend not going above 100 because...well, unless you want a really long range prey attack then you don't need it higher than that.

But there you go, super easy! Very Happy

You're very welcome!

They mean the amount of time that prey spends standing still or running around. I'm not too sure which affects what and what to change them to to get the amount of standing and running that you want.

I do know that many of the praisable critters have Min at 3 and Deviation at 7. I have seen the numbers go up to 15 in oIT.

You can always change the numbers and see what happens and keep changing them until you're happy.
