 HP Bar & Title Screen Movement

PostSubject: HP Bar & Title Screen Movement    Tue Mar 06, 2018 6:38 am

I was trying to move my HP bar and it crashed my game in the end, I would like it in the top right of the screen along with the attack and stuff but I ran into this first, here is my GUI.overlay. The error I'm getting when crashing is the "Cannot find material GUIMat/HPPanel in Overlay Elements.

Also, another question. How would one go about centering everything on the start screen (title screen) c:

Okay, so the missing file is written in the GUI Overlay as an assigned material. That's not the actual material file for it though.

Do you actually have that material file? You need to find it.

Ah, then you're going to need to create a material for it! Easy fix. :3

As for moving things to the centre - you'll just have to go through the GUI, find the parts you need to move and play with the alignment numbers.

I've never moved them myself so I can't really go in-depth with any explanations, but that's basically all you need to do.

Ahh, is there any sort of guide or anything for the numbers? o: It would be super duper helpful.
Also, how would I go about creating that Material? x3

Not sure about any guides - I've never looked into it. You'll have to search around KITO for anything like that.

You just make it like a regular material file? Just make sure it says:

material GUI/HPPanel

at the top as the material name. Then you just need to make sure the material file is searching for the HP bar texture. If you're not sure about material files then I'm sure there's guides on here for them since they are a big part of IT servers.
