 Autopatcher? [solved]

So I've compiled my server
and I made a folder for my game
Here is a screenshot of my FS(my game)'s folder just in case

And when I try to open Game, I get this:

I've searched around these forums for autopatcher and more info on ad1 but I've had no luck.

And my support team isn't sure what this means, so I figured I had to bring it here. Thank you all in advance

The XOR key you assigned in the source is probably different from what the dat files in your game are encrypted with, which is 0 for a freshly downloaded source.

Mm, so do you have any suggestions? I'm still a complete noob at this, and I haven't found any guides that actually explain what to do and why.

theres a xor key in GameConfig.h, you need to use that in the encryption tool to encrypt your ad1/cd1/cd2 files

did you change the key from 0? what did you change it to? some keys arent valid. most people use the provided key but change the numbers

That's what I did, I changed the key that was already there(just the numbers)
And then i put that same key into the tool where it was 0.
Though all of the guides I found were vague on how to actually do this whole thing like with the files
So I just had ad1 be both the input and output file. Idk if that is right or not. Could that be the error?

probably. you should have an unencrypted and an encrypted version. name the unencrypted something else and run it through the encrypter with the output being ad1.dat

I copied the files into every client folder I could find, still getting the error.

main client folder, as in build>client. the game only reads from the client folder or stuff within client>media

Okay
It's now showing the error, just for cd2.dat

I tried the same thing I did for ad1.dat(taking the unencrypted version and renaming it and pasting it into client alongside the encrypted one)
